Events
Learning how to perform is a vital part of any musical education. Current active students are expected to participate in the events offered by the studio. Events are held throughout the year both in-person and online for all ages and all levels. Opportunities are available for all instruments/areas of study including drama and acting.

Senior Scholarship RecitalClearwater, FL
The Greater Pinellas Music Teachers Association Awards are given annually to recognize high school seniors who are studying with current members of the GPMTA and have taken piano, voice, or string lessons for all four years of high school with GPMTA teachers. Student DayClearwater, FL
Each year the Florida State Music Teachers Association sponsors non-competitive “Student Days” in nine districts of the state for the purpose of evaluating the student’s progress in such musical skills as performance, sight-reading and technique, aural theory, and written theory. Students are scheduled individually for the live in-person performance evaluation and will take the aural theory test as a group at each level. Each student who successfully completes the requirements of his/her level is awarded a Certificate of Achievement. A student who needs more than one year to complete a particular level is awarded a Certificate of Progress. Students who earn Honors in three areas of evaluation are awarded a large honors trophy. Students who earn Honors in two areas of evaluation are awarded a small honors trophy. MTNA eFestivalOnline Only
The MTNA eFestival is an online-only performance opportunity where you receive a constructive critique from a highly qualified evaluator. eFestival evaluations are accepted for solo piano, brass, woodwind, strings, voice, guitar/mandolin, ukulele, organ, harp, percussion, and chamber music. Students may video record and submit up to 15 minutes of music performance. This annual festival is open to beginner through advanced levels. All ages welcome.
