Learning how to perform is a vital part of any musical education. Events are held throughout the year both in-person and online for all ages and all levels. Opportunities are available for all instruments/areas of study including drama and acting.

Senior Scholarship RecitalClearwater, FL
The Greater Pinellas Music Teachers Association Awards are given annually to recognize high school seniors who are studying with current members of the GPMTA and have taken piano, voice, or string lessons for all four years of high school with GPMTA teachers. Each senior will receive an award of $100 in recognition of their continuing studies throughout their high school years. REGISTRATION CLOSED |

Student DayClearwater, FL
Each year the Florida State Music Teachers Association sponsors non-competitive “Student Days” in nine districts of the state for the purpose of evaluating the student’s progress in such musical skills as performance, sight-reading and technique, aural theory, and written theory. Students are scheduled individually for the performance evaluation and will take the aural theory test as a group at each level. Each student who successfully completes the requirements of his/her level is awarded a Certificate of Achievement. A student who needs more than one year to complete a particular level is awarded a Certificate of Progress. Students who earn Honors in three areas of evaluation are awarded a large honors trophy. Students who earn Honors in two areas of evaluation are awarded a small honors trophy. REGISTRATION CLOSED |

Royal Conservatory Certificate ProgramOnline or In-person
The Royal Conservatory Certificate program is a globally recognized system of music study and assessment from elementary through advanced levels, accessible in-person or online. The program is open to all levels and all ages. Many adults participate in the RCM Certificate Program, as they consider the examinations to be a clear and rewarding way to motivate and guide their study. Signup for more information |
